How Our Network Works
Who You Talk To
You talk to an independent concrete provider from our network. Each provider runs their own business, sets their own prices and manages their own schedule. Mistakespurposes Concrete makes the introduction and then steps back.
What Happens on the Call
Expect a short, practical chat. Here is the usual order.
1. First, the provider asks what you want: driveway or patio. 2. Next, they ask about size, current surface and any slope or water issues. 3. Then they talk about timing and plan a visit to measure. 4. After the visit, they send a written quote.
Have a few notes ready. Photos of the area help. So does a rough sketch with measurements. It also helps to know how you plan to use the space, such as parking two cars or setting up outdoor seating.
What to Ask an Independent Provider
Use this checklist.
- Are you licensed and insured as local rules require?
- What base will go under the concrete, and how thick?
- How will you handle drainage and slope?
- Where will control joints go?
- How long should the slab cure before use?
- Does the quote list materials, finish, removal of old concrete and cleanup?
- When should I seal the surface, and how often after that?
- For stamped concrete patios, how are color and pattern chosen?
If the area sits near the house, ask whether foundation repair experts should check any movement first.
You Are in Control
A request does not obligate you to hire anyone. Compare quotes. Ask follow-up questions. Say no if something feels unclear. Prices vary by job, so always get the scope and price in writing. Take your time reading each quote before you decide.
