About Mistakespurposes Concrete and How Referrals Work
Who We Are
Mistakespurposes Concrete is a referral service for new concrete driveways and patios. It connects homeowners in Woodside and the Woodside area with independent local providers. Mistakespurposes Concrete does not pour, cut or finish concrete. The providers do that work.
Why This Site Exists
A new slab involves many choices. Base, thickness, joints, finish and slope all matter. Most homeowners do not know which to ask about first.
This site puts those choices in order. It also keeps going after the pour, with short checklists for drainage, sealing and early warning signs. The idea is simple: pour, cure, maintain.
How Providers Are Matched
The process has four steps.
1. You share what you want: a driveway or a patio, a rough size and your timing. 2. Mistakespurposes Concrete passes the request to a provider in our network that serves your area. 3. The provider contacts you to talk details and plan a visit. 4. You compare written quotes and choose.
Availability varies by provider. Request a callback to check provider availability.
What We Expect From Providers
Providers in the network work on their own. We ask them to:
- Hold any licenses and insurance that local rules require
- Give written quotes that list the scope of work
- Explain base prep, thickness, joints and curing in plain words
- Answer questions about drainage and slope
- Treat your home and yard with care
You should still confirm license and insurance details with the provider yourself.
What We Do Not Do
- Mistakespurposes Concrete does not pour or finish concrete.
- Mistakespurposes Concrete does not set the price of a job.
- Mistakespurposes Concrete does not promise a start date. Each provider sets their own schedule.
- Mistakespurposes Concrete does not give legal or insurance advice. If damage may be part of a claim, check your policy.
How We Are Paid
Providers in the network may pay Mistakespurposes Concrete a referral fee when a request leads to a job. Sending a request through this site does not add a charge from Mistakespurposes Concrete. Your agreement, price and payment terms are between you and the provider.
After the Pour
Good concrete still needs care. Keep water moving away from the slab. Seal when the provider advises it. Look for small cracks, stains and low spots a few times a year. Small signs, early action. If a mark grows, ask a provider for advice.
